Brad Forester is the Founder and Managing Partner of JBF Consulting, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience in transportation strategy, logistics technology, and supply chain transformation. A recognized industry expert, Brad has advised Fortune 500 companies and high-growth brands on complex global transportation initiatives, from network design and technology selection to implementation and value realization. His background spans senior roles in consulting, software, and shipper operations, giving him a uniquely balanced perspective on strategy and execution. Brad is a frequent industry speaker and thought leader on TMS, visibility, and logistics innovation.

Mike Mulqueen
Executive Principal, Strategy & Innovation​

Mike Mulqueen is Managing Principal at JBF Consulting and leads the firm’s strategic transportation and logistics practice. With over 35 years of experience spanning logistics consulting, TMS product leadership, and shipper operations, he helps global organizations define and execute high-impact transportation strategies. Mike’s career includes senior roles at Manhattan Associates and Accenture, as well as hands-on work in logistics software design and deployment. He brings both vendor-side technical depth and real-world industry insight to every engagement. Mike earned his Master of Engineering in Logistics from MIT, where he was awarded the outstanding thesis honor.

Tara Buchler
Principal, Strategy

Tara Buchler is Principal, Strategy at JBF Consulting, bringing more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of logistics operations and enterprise supply chain software. She partners with shippers to design and implement pragmatic, high-impact strategies that align business goals with advanced technology solutions. Tara’s unique perspective blends vendor-side product leadership, hands-on implementation expertise, and operational insight—allowing her to provide objective advisory services rooted in real-world experience. Her background includes senior roles at e2open, BluJay Solutions, and LeanLogistics, where she helped shape TMS, visibility, and parcel execution capabilities for global shippers.

Mike Ferguson
Executive Principal, Operations & Client Engagement​

Mike Ferguson is the Principal of Operations (COO), Implementation, & Client Success with over 30 years of experience driving transformation and enabling strategic capabilities throughout the supply chain. He’s held leadership roles spanning business consulting, strategic operations, and large-scale systems implementations, working with global brands across retail, apparel, manufacturing, and consumer goods sectors. Mike has led large-scale technology programs for Oracle, SAP, Manhattan, and JDA—running the program management office, driving change adoption, and becoming the trusted advisor with business and IT leaders for sustained results. Mike also provides leadership to enablement of new strategic business capabilities—defining the prioritization of priorities, how to measure success, and driving a holistic implementation roadmap based on key dependencies & constraints. His dual vantage of industry and vendor experience enables him to translate technology initiatives into real business outcomes.
