Scope:
JBF Consulting was called in to provide domain expertise in transportation processes and system configurations in the discount retail environment. The goal was to drive efficiencies in planning scenarios using a 5+-year-old OTM implementation. Preliminary evaluations revealed that the original system configurations were sub-par, resulting in less than optimal planning for inbound and outbound transport. Working side-by-side with an experienced Oracle transportation consultant, JBF helped to identify ways to reduce outbound fleet miles and planner workloads stemming from improvements in overall solution quality.
